For a delicious pinza (local roman version of the pizza), look no further than La Pratolina.
We went there with local Roman connoisseurs and even though it was raining dogs and cats at 10pm, there was a continuous queue outside in the street of up to 20 persons.
We were thus not surprised to taste delicious foo. Be careful of not ordering too many appetizers or you’ll fall in the same trap as we did: not being hungry anymore when the pinza arrived as main dish…
The prices are very reasonable given the size and quality of the dishes.
Very recommended for nice group outing. Be prepared to queue up as the restaurant does not take reservations (there must be a reason…)
Location is convenient not very far from St Pieters Basilic.

‘Gusto is actually a group containing a Pizzeria, a wine, an Osteria and other shops.
We went to the Osteria Formaggeria located via della frezza 16 (tel +39 06 3211 1482).
This is one of the best restaurants we had the chance to eat at in Rome. We went there with local Roman friends, so it cannot be that bad…
Delicious cheese plates are served as appetizer. Don’t neglect the delicious pasta either, as well as delicious deserts (if you still have some space left)
The atmosphere is quite modern and you can easily see what is happening in the kitchen through large window bays.
To be recommended for a nice evening with friends (for a romantic evening, it may be too noisy).
